SERFA Showcased at French National Conference
Our French partner MEFP was delighted to represent the SERFA consortium last week during the National Days of Territorial Initiatives for Employment organised by the French Department for Skills and Training. More than 400 participants contributed to the success of this new edition.
Throughout the day, forty-eight collective initiatives implemented by local stakeholders across France to support employment were showcased.
The National Days provide the opportunity to demonstrate the capacity of a wide range of local stakeholders, both public and private, to act together to provide employment, skills and economic development solutions by innovating, removing barriers and coordinating forces and funding.
MEFP presented the SERFA project and particularly the role of the skill broker in identifying businesses' skills and training needs. The participants were interested in good practice from other European countries and the added value that this generated, but also in this new concept of business engagement.
