MarineCo was formed in the early 1970's as a buying group for fishermen's co-operatives in Scotland. It has evolved over the years to become the biggest wholesale supplier into the commercial fishing industry in the UK, specialising in consumable products such as wires, ropes, nets and the like. Over recent years MarineCo has moved into lifesaving equipment, lubricating oils and stainless rigging.

MarineCo has worked closely with the Cornwall Apprenticeship Agency (CAA) for a number of years to develop tangible work based apprenticeship opportunities. Benefitting from the CAA’s skills brokerage support and guidance, MarineCo has delivered 7 apprenticeships over the last few years.
